National Airlines Customer Commitment

Murray Aviation dispatch

Our Commitment

7 days a week - 24 hours a day. Dispatch for our cargo and passenger transport services operates 24 hours, 7 days per week. We can expedite departures for critical deliveries or simply assure passengers that our departures are on schedule, day after day and week after week. For cargo flights, we can be “wheels up” within two hours!

One call does it all. One phone call is the only thing our customers need to do! We take care of absolutely everything else. We can arrange 'door to door' transportation. Passengers can be shuttled from the airport to their destinations. Our philosophy is to provide you with the easiest way to meet your transportation needs!

Murray Aviation hangar Constant customer communication. Constant communication is our most important asset during the entire process. We provide timely updates including the estimated time of arrival. Communication is also indispensable with our 24-hour dispatch center at Willow Run Airport, who monitors all of our flight movements.
Our Services

Our Services. Currently we are operating the DC8 aircraft, Jetstream 31, and Saab 340 passenger aircraft. Immediate departures are possible with all of these aircraft because we invest much time and energy in the training of pilots and maintenance personnel. Our pilots are highly trained, service-oriented, and thoroughly knowledgeable about the most current flight technology. Our maintenance personnel meet or exceed safety standards for each aircraft, making certain that each is ready to go at all times.

Our employees make sure that National Airlines meets or exceed safety standards for each aircraft.

Fast, convenient and efficient. Even before your cargo is loaded, National Airlines is preparing an efficient, fast flight. We use computer assisted flight planning and information from our satellite weather system to determine the optimum route to your shipment's destination. Satellite phones allow constant communication between the aircraft and the operation center.

Weather satellite image Most sophisticated technology. Global Positioning System (GPS) technology is the most sophisticated technology in the industry. National Airlines employs this system for direct navigation versus flying indirectly as with VOR routing. The GPS is tied into the flight management systems and the EFIS, providing savings in flight time, added efficiency and an overall increase in safety.

International expertise. We have global shipping experience to locations throughout North America and worldwide to destinations in Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Africa, Central and South America, Australia and the Pacific Rim. As a result, we have extensive customs expertise and we are bonded by U.S. Customs so that your shipment will not be delayed.

Passenger and cargo security. National Airlines operates under two security plans approved by the Transportation Security Administration. The Saab and Jetstream passenger aircraft operate under the 12-5 security plan. The DC-8 cargo aircraft are subject to the Full All Cargo Aircraft Operator Standard Security Program. In addition, both plans are subject to scheduled yearly inspections and random checks. We have rigorous additional procedures and training in place so that passengers and cargo are always secure.

National Airlines personnel receive constant training to ensure
the safety and reliability of our flights.

HAZMAT certified. National Airlines holds a hazardous materials exemption from the U.S. Department of Transportation that allows us to transport high explosives safely for our cargo clients.

The exemption, which requires a rigorous application and inspection process, allows National Airlines to carry Division 1.1, 1.2, 1.3 and 1.4 explosives that are not normally permitted to be shipped via air. In addition, not more than 2,000 pounds of net weight explosives may be transported per flight and the aircraft used for such transportation must be authorized by National Airlines FAA operations certificate. Other safety control measures are also in place, including the need for advance notice to the FAA Regional Dangerous Goods Manager, advance permission from the airports of origin and destination, and a special designation in the flight plan.
